The fallout from the October 7 Hamas attack against Israel, which Israel allowed to happen by ordering a stand-down for a full seven hours, increasingly shows that Israel itself was responsible for many of the civilian deaths that occurred that fateful day.
Photos of the aftermath of the fighting that occurred inside Kibbutz Be’eri, as one example, reveal proof-positively that it was Israel Defense Forces (IDF) that blew up homes and killed civilians. This is corroborated by testimony from Tuval Escapa, the security coordinator at Kibbutz Be’eri, who told Haaretz that Israeli army commanders ordered the “shelling [of] houses on their occupants in order to eliminate the terrorists along with the hostages.”
This also aligns with the testimony given by Yasmin Porat, an attendee of the Nova music festival who fled to Kibbutz Be’eri for safety. Porat told Israel State Radio that it was Israeli special defense forces who “eliminated everyone, including the hostages, because there was very, very heavy crossfire.”
“After insane crossfire, two tank shells were shot into the house,” she further revealed, noting that Hamas militants were kind to her and the other hostages, offering them food and water, while the Israeli military went gung-ho crazy shooting everyone, seemingly indiscriminately.
(Related: The U.S. military is shifting from “woke” back to white in an effort to recruit more non-Jewish bodies to fight Israel’s war against the Palestinians.)
Porat’s partner, who had his hands tied behind his back by Hamas militants, ended up dying at the hands of Israeli security forces whom she says “undoubtedly” killed him and many of the other hostages. All these deaths would quickly be blamed by Israel on Hamas.
The South Responders Telegram page posted a video showing the bodies of other Israelis discovered below the rubble of a home in Israel that was blown to bits by a powerful explosive blast, likely a tank shell. Underneath, there were charred corpses, including that of a young boy, found in groups that point to “friendly” tank fire from Israel.
Many of these charred corpses were found to have their hands and ankles tied together, suggesting that Hamas militants did that part, followed by Israel doing the killing.
There are also reports that Israeli security forces opened fire on fleeing Israelis whom they apparently mistook for Hamas militants. A resident of Ashkelon, an Israeli city located just to the north of the Gaza Strip, by the name of Danielle Rachiel described nearly being killed herself while trying to flee from the Nova music festival.
“As we reached the roundabout [at a kibbutz], we saw Israeli security forces!” Rachiel recalls. “We held our heads down [because] we automatically knew they’d be suspicious of us, in a small beat-up car … from the same direction the terrorists were coming from. Our forces began shooting at us!”
“When our forces fired at us, our windows shattered. It was only when we shouted in Hebrew, ‘we’re Israelis?’ that the shooting stopped and we were taken to safety.”
Not everyone was as lucky as Rachiel, though, Another Israeli named Adi Ohana was shot dead by Israeli police near his home after reportedly being mistaken as a Palestinian guerilla.
“An innocent man was killed in the most negligent way possible,” Ohana’s niece complained about the horrific way in which IDF carelessly shot and killed Israelis.
Since then, Israeli media has been reporting many more such incidents in which Israelis were gunned down by their own military, even while trying to defend their own homes from actual Palestinian gunmen.
